Wednesday Wish List

A while back I created something I called my “to get list” essentially a wish list, of items that I would mark off as I acquired them. Websites like Polyvore, Shopstyle and Pinterest have only made my list longer but thankfully all of my “to get” items can be put in one place. This week my Wednesday Wish List is pretty big because my birthday is coming up, and I have to give plenty of hints to my husband. *blushes* Check out some of my current obsessions below.

 

Look for Less: Kim Kardashian

Let me say that I was a huge fan of Kim Kardashian if for nothing else, but for her fashion. I just loved her style…that is until Kanye came into the picture and appointed himself the position of VP of Kim’s wardrobe. Nearly all of her looks now make me want to take a nap. Don’t get me wrong, I like black and white, and leather, but come on, how she dresses now is just not nearly as fly as she was dressed before…THEN I saw her at the Louise Goldin Spring 2013 fashion show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York. I LOVED everything about this look…and of course I am obsessed with it.

To end the week, I would like to focus on the flyness of various individuals. Today’s subject is none other than Solange Knowles. She was spotted at the Roberto Cavalli Spring 2013 show wearing what else but Roberto Cavalli, which she paired with celebrity fave Christian Louboutins.

Coated Denim

One of my fall wishlist items is a pair of coated denim jeans. I love how it looks like leather, but still has some stretch to it, for the perfect fit. You can find it everywhere right now, and at all price points. What are your thoughts on trend? The other great thing about coated denim is that its now available in a million colors.

 

Wedge Sneakers

So my current obsession happens to be hidden wedge sneakers, some are a miss for me, because the styling is just not sleek enough, on the other hand I have found no less than 4 pairs that I would LOVE to have in my closet right now these, these, these, and last but certainly not least these. This isn't the first time sneakers with a heel have made their way onto the fashion scene I don't think I need to remind people of the Air Force Ones that had a heel a few years back...SMH. Lukily we have far better options available to us these days.
